A youth personnel reserve is being created in Nagorno-Karabakh
The Ministry of Culture and Youth Affairs of Nagorno-Karabakh has finished receiving applications from those who wished to take part in a youth contest project “Youth personnel reserve”. The goal of the program is to assist the young people’s employment.
Such an action is being undertaken by the Ministry in Nagorno-Karabakh for the first time.
According to Tigran Atanesyan, Head of Youth Department of the Ministry of Culture, many young people have already left being unable to create a family because of employment problems.
“The contest will help reveal young and promising specialists, solve the question of their employment and form a personnel reserve”, Atanesyan explained to the “Caucasian Knot” correspondent.
According to him, 26 applications from people aged 20 to 30 were received but if there are many young people who wish to find a job with the help of the contest the program will be continued.
Irina Safaryan, third-year student of law faculty, said that she was participating in the contest because she wanted to comprehend what she was capable of. In the future she hopes to find a job in some state institution in Stepanakert.
Resident of Askeran district Gurgen Martirosyan said that it made no difference to him where he would be offered a job. “I am ready to work in any district of Nagorno-Karabakh, I just need to have a job. I am young and handsome but unemployment status takes a sense of self-reliance away from me”, Gurgen Martirosyan assures.
