International footballers' posts video of incident in the match "Terek" vs. "Krasnodar"
A video showing the incident in Grozny during the football match of the "Terek" FC against "Krasnodar" FC, where the guest striker Spartak Gogniev was beaten, is available on the website of the International Union of Professional Footballers.
Alexander Zotov, Director General of the All-Russian Footballers' Union (ARFU), said that the video should have been posted much earlier.
"It's nice that everyone can see and assess what had really happened in Bilimkhanov Stadium. The case should be settled to the end, since after the official decision of the Control-Disciplinary Committee (CDC) it's now all quiet; and apart from the people from "Terek", who were disqualified, nobody else involved in the beating was punished," the RIA "Novosti" quotes Mr Zotov as saying.
Nikolai Komarov, the head of department for information policy of the Russian Football Union (RFU), said that the police continue to investigate the incident during the match in Grozny, the "Sport-Express" reports.
According to his story, the video should not have been made public, "for the police to quietly and thoroughly get into the situation."
