Hackers crack over 100 Armenian websites
Over the weekend, on November 27-28, unidentified hackers cracked more than 100 Armenian websites, by dating the attack to "the 20th anniversary of Baku events". The hackers did not specify what particular events they had in mind.
"It's quite possible that the list of cracked sites will be continued. For some reason, it was written that the hacking was dated to the 20th anniversary of Baku events. Why in November – I didn't quite understand," writes the bloggerof the "Caucasian Knot" under the nickname Kornelij. He gives the list of the cracked websites on his page.
It is not clear to what particular events the hackers have dated their action. The most resonant incident in Baku associated with the natives of Armenia will be 22 in two months.
Let us remind you that the massive pogroms against Armenians were launched in Baku on January 13, 1990. According to various estimates, they killed from 48 (the figure of the Human Rights Watch) to 86 persons and injured 300 others, as asserted by the Azerbaijani historian Arif Yunusov. Armenian sources assert that the January riots in Baku took away about 150-300 lives. In Azerbaijan, the Armenian pogroms in Baku in 1990 are treated as provocations of Soviet special services.
