Astrakhan Region: court obliges authorities to demolish emergency hostels in Molodyozhny
The Krasnoyarsk District Court of the Astrakhan Region has set up a deadline of three months for demolition of all the hostels in the state of emergency, located in the township of Aksaraiski (Molodyozhny) near Astrakhan, said the Regional Prosecutor's Office.
"It was established in the course of the check that the administration of the municipality formation 'Aksaraisk Rural Soviet' had failed towards fire safety in the township. According to the housing demolition schedule, these hostels were to be demolished in October 2011. However, to date, this did not happen. In order to eliminate the violations, the prosecutor has addressed the court for obliging the administration to demolish the hostels," says the website of the Prosecutor's Office of the Astrakhan Region.
According to the Office, the court has completely satisfied the prosecutor's claim and set March 1, 2012, as the deadline for the township, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
So far, the position of the administration of the municipal formation "Aksaraisk Rural Soviet" on the prosecutor's claim and court decision is unknown.
