Residents of the settlement of Dzau expect solution of social problems from the new Head of South Ossetia

The new President of the Republic of South Ossetia must concentrate on settling a lot of social problems of the republic. This was declared by residents of the settlement of Dzau at the exit of the polling station.

“We need dwellings first of all, Head of the settlement Pavel Kumaritov said to the “Caucasian Knot” correspondent. – There are people in the settlement who have very poor living conditions”.

Khanjery Sanakoev, one of the oldest residents of the settlement, voted two weeks ago and considered it necessary to take part in the second round of the election, too.

“Both the authorities and the citizens have to work a lot, Sanakoev said. - The young people need everything that will be done in the nearest several years and we, the older generation, want them to have a nice life”.

Alla Kusraeva, native of the settlement of Gufta located in 10 kilometers distance from Dzau, also voted for the new president of South Ossetia. She emphasized that the President of the republic and district authorities had large-scale and serious tasks among which she marked out settling the problem of unemployment.

7 300 people reside in Dzau district of South Ossetia, 2207 in the settlement of Dzau itself. 19 polling stations were opened for the election of President of South Ossetia.
