Location of Rasul Magomedov who disappeared in Dagestan is still unknown
Location of Rasul Magomedov, teacher of the Russian language and literature in a secondary school of Balakhna, who disappeared in Makhachkala on November, 17, under vague circumstances, is still unknown in Dagestan.
Representatives of law enforcement bodies told the teacher’s wife Patimat Murshidova that they did not know where her husband was.
Rasul Magomedov is father of Mariam Sharipova who according to the investigation, exploded herself in the Moscow metro in March, 2009.
Murshidova reported her husband’s disappearance on November, 18.
“Since November, 14, he was at advanced training courses in Makhachkala. I talked to my husband on the phone every day but since yesterday his telephone is switched off which had never happened before. My relatives and I started searching for Rasul at once. There are eyewitnesses who saw him getting out of a minibus on November, 18, and we have no further news about him”, the woman said.
Patimat pointed out that her husband had strictly stuck to Moslem practice and had no personal enemies. Murshidova does not rule out that the reason for her husband’s abduction might have been his wearing a long beard for the personnel of law enforcement bodies in Dagestan consider that such a beard indicates to an adherent of Salafism (Wahabiism).
