Chechen woman states kidnapping of her son
Zargan Abdurakhmanova, a resident of the Darbankhi village, Gudermes District of Chechnya, has appealed to the republic's leadership with a request to find her son, who was kidnapped on September 2, 2011.
The application of Zargan Abdurakhmanova dated October 26 and addressed to the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov says that her son Ruslan Abdurakhmanov, born in 1983, was kidnapped in central Grozny by unidentified persons in masks. This application was sent to the SMS-service of the "Caucasian Knot" on November 10.
"My son was on his way to his friends who live in Pervomayskaya Street, when he was attacked by four masked men. All of them were armed. My son was dragged by gunpoint to the car... The car was without any state license numbers and with tinted windows," the Chechen woman writes in her application. According to her story, at the moment of Ruslan's kidnapping, his friend Shamil was with him – "he was threatened to be shot dead if he approaches."
Relatives of the kidnapped person appealed to the police, tried to get an appointment with the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov and to call Kadyrov, when he held a direct telephone dialogue with the population of the republic.
"This letter is our last hope. Maybe Allah will bring to you the letter of the mother, who cries every day, and you'll hear my pain and feel my tears," says the statement.
The kidnapped young man has a two-year-old child and a pregnant wife.
