19 officers punished in Azerbaijan in connection with the death of three soldiers
In connection with the death of three soldiers of Azerbaijani army caused by a disease Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan signed an order of punishment of 19 officers.
Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" reported that on November, 1, soldier of National Army Azer Akif oglu Abbaszade died from lobar pneumonia and internal hemorrhage. It was already the third case during the last three days: a nineteen-years-old Raul Agaev also died from pneumonia and Ruslan Kerimov aged 18 died in the hospital of Gianja, according to a report, "as a result of disease". A criminal case was initiated within the framework of inquiry.
According to the order of the Minister of Defense, 19 servicemen were punished for the soldiers' death, beginning from high rank officials and up to noncommissioned officers.
Three officers got a reprimand, two a severe reprimand, six received a "service incompetence note", four were lowered in rank and four more discharged from service, "Trend" reports.
The order also included points demanding elimination of repetition of such cases, Apa.az. reports.
