Ex-head of a settlement in Dagestan convicted for misappropriation of pensions
The court in Dagestan sentenced ex-head of Administration of the settlement of Novosasitly, Khasavyrt district, to three years of custody for misappropriation of pensions to a sum of over one million rubles.
Khasavyrt district court brought a verdict of guilty concerning Ahmednabiev, ex-head of Administration of the settlement of Novosasitly, and a number of other employees of inter-district Department of Pension fund who were accused of illicit document operations with pensions for the purpose of their further misappropriation.
"In process of investigation the defendants' involvement in misappropriation of money of the Pension fund of Russia to a sum of over one million rubles was established", RIA "Novosti" quotes the representative of Press service of Directorate of Federal Security Service in the Republic of Dagestan.
The court sentenced S. Ahmednabiev to three years of custody and compensation of inflicted financial loss. Employees of the Department of Pension fund M. Gajiyasulov, A. Turuchiev, P. Abasova and T. Abdullaeva were fined and deprived of the right of state service in institutions of Pension fund of Russia, RIA "Dagestan" reports.
Reaction of the defendants and their attorneys to the judgment has not yet been reported.
