A meeting of "Women-peacemaker's Alliance of Georgia and Russia" going on in Rostov-on-Don
A meeting of women participants of a dialogue aimed at returning mutual understanding between representatives of Russian and Georgian communities is going on in Rostov-on-Don.
40 women are participating in the meeting. They are leaders of non-governmental organizations and teachers of Russian in Russia and Georgia.
An educational seminar "Strategic planning" for teachers of Russian in Russia and Georgia is included into the program of the meeting. Besides, a current plan of concerted actions for women-peacemakers of Russia and Georgia was discussed. The participants are also working out joint civil initiatives, web-site of organization "Women of Don" reports.
The present meeting in Rostov is a new action of the project "To live in the World is to live in peace" carried out in conference by two non-governmental organizations: Union "Women of Don" (Russia) and "Cultural and Humanitarian Foundation "Sukhumi" (Georgia).
The meeting of "women-peacemakers" will last till November, 6, IA "Yuzhny Region" reports.
