In Azerbaijan, soldier injures his colleague
A soldier of the Azerbaijani army shot at his colleague from his service firearm, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence reports.
The incident occurred on October 26 in a military unit deployed in the contact zone of the military forces of Azerbaijan and the Nagorno-Karabakh.
The 19-year-old soldier Elvin Mamedov wounded Elchin Mikailov in his leg, the "1News.az" reports.
It is also reported that the shot was fired "due to violation of safety rules", the "APA" reports.
In Azerbaijan, this is the third case over the last three days when a soldier got injured by negligence.
