Jurymen find Aslan Cherkesov guilty of killing Yegor Sviridov
In the Moscow City Court in the trial of the case on the mass fight in Kronstadt Boulevard, the jury unanimously pleaded Aslan Cherkesov, the native of the city of Nalchik, guilty of murdering Yegor Sviridov, the football fan.
According to the jury, Aslan Cherkesov does not deserve leniency.
The other defendants Ramazan Utarbiev, Arthur Arsibiev, Akai Akaev, Nariman Ismailov and Khasan Ibragimov, were also found guilty by the jury of the alleged crimes; and they do not deserve leniency (poll of the jury: 10 "pro" and 2 "contra").
10 members of the jury considered that the acts of the defendants within the organized criminal grouping were proved by the public prosecutors; 2 jurors believed the criminal acts were unproved.
The jury was rendering their verdict during 5 hours; they twice asked the judge to clarify technical points and three times corrected their answers in the question list.
