Kidnapped resident of Dagestan sentenced for administrative violation
In Dagestan, the magistrate court of the town of Izberbash ruled to fine the earlier kidnapped Rustam Yakhyaev by 500 roubles. This was reported by Patimat Shakhbanova, a Rustam's relative.
The "Caucasian Knot" reported that, according to the relatives' information, on October 13 in the city of Makhachkala armed people drove the 35-year-old Rustam Yakhyaev away to some unknown destination. On October 17, the relatives of Rustam Yakhyaev claimed that they had found him at the police station in Izberbash, where Rustam was charged of appearing in a public place while intoxicated.
According to Patimat Shakhbanova, they wanted to keep Rustam at the OVD (Interior Division) of Izberbash for more two days.
"We can say that we almost pulled him from the police hands, we managed to release him," emphasizes Patimat Shakhbanova.
The Yakhyaev's relatives hired a lawyer and intend to challenge the actions of the law enforcement bodies committed against Yakhyaev.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) made no comments yet, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.
