Azerbaijan gets interested in tourist cluster in Northern Caucasus
The Azerbaijani government will send a delegation with businessmen to Dagestan to study the development projects of the North-Caucasian tourist cluster, in particular, the Caspian coast resorts and their investment opportunities.
On October 13, a delegation of the Open Joint-Stock Company (OJSC) "Resorts of Northern Caucasus", headed by Vice-President of the Russian Olympic Committee Akhmed Bilalov, left for Baku. The talks held there focused on the development prospects of the tourist cluster in Southern Russia and Dagestan, in particular.
Separately, they considered possibilities of integration of both parties in development of the tourist potential of the Caspian Sea coast.
"Azerbaijan and Dagestan are very close in spirit and culture and have not only common interests, but all the prerequisites for integration," the official website of the above OJSC quotes Yuri Tyrtyshov, its Deputy Director General.
