A prison online-shop opened in Rostov region
An online-shop started working at the web-site of Central Directorate of Federal Sentence-implementation service. The prisoners’ relatives can now order all the necessary things in the web-stall without going out.
The convicts themselves will not be able to use the new service because they have no internet access and mobiles are strictly prohibited to them.
“The regulations of this online-shop have its own specifics and is certainly unlike similar resources for free people. The order is mandatory verified by the prison administration who establish whether a convict has a right of receiving a particular parcel”, “Rostov News Agency” quotes Olga Sidorova, representative of Central Directorate of Federal Sentence-implementation service.
One can find wafers, ice-cream, quick-cooking noodles, tea, cigarettes, personal-care products, stationery, a sponge for dishwashing and other goods of everyday use in the web-stall.
There is no significant difference between prices in the online-shop for the convicts’ relatives and the ones in a super-market. For example, an ice-cream cup in this shop costs 8 rubles 40 kopecs, cigarettes Marlboro Lights cost 52 rubles, you will have to pay 154 rubles for 100 gram Nescafe' and 37 rubles for a half-litre bottle of Coca-Cola.
One can either pay cash for a purchase in a terminal or bank or on account (E-money, bank card or through a mobile operator), IA “Yuzhny Region” reports.
