Head of MIA's operative unit and his daughter injured at car explosion in Dagestan
In the morning of October 3, an explosion on the highway Kaspiisk-Makhachkala near turning to the village Turali occurred when a car drove by. Two persons were injured.
A police officer and his 10-year-old daughter were in the car. As a result of the explosion, the policeman and the girl got mine injuries of different gravity degrees and were delivered to the hospital for necessary medical care. The car was severely damaged, the RIA "Dagestan" reports.
The police officer holds the position of Chief of the Operational Search Unit (OSU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic. Force of an explosive device was 5 kg of TNT (trotyl) equivalent, the "Interfax" reports.
