Rostov-on-Don hosts protest against high gasoline prices
The protest action against high gasoline prices was organized by about 20 persons, who plan to send their adopted resolution to Russian President.
On September 24, about twenty activists came to the Theatre Square in Rostov-on-Don to say their "No" to the current gasoline prices. They held two small posters; and all the time of the action, the organizers cleared out their relationships with the police.
"The policemen tried to write down our data; however, we managed to distribute our leaflets. We'll stand at Theatre Square for half an hour, sign up the resolution and disperse. The planned car rally has been also lifted, as we were strictly forbidden to hold it," Ilya Solodov, the coordinator of the action, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
