At forum in Sochi, Rostov Region signs contracts worth over 21 billion roubles

Due to the contracts signed by representatives of the Rostov Region at the 10th International Investment Forum in Sochi, soon the region will have six new production facilities. The total value of contracts is nearly 21 billion roubles, while the number of new jobs to be created at new enterprises is around 1200.

Half of the new start-ups will be implemented in the regional agrarian sector.
The 10th International Investment Forum "Sochi-2011" is held on September 15-18. It is expected that its participants will present about three thousand investment proposals.

The most expensive of the projects signed by the Rostov Region, which will entail 6.7 billion roubles of investments, will be implemented in the city of Volgodonsk. The company "Rusbiotech" plane to build, jointly with the "Evonik", a biotech complex of wheat processing with production of lysine and other by-products.

The exhibition of the Rostov Region, which covers 136 square meters, is stylized as a stadium – this demonstrates the readiness of the region to implement development projects on the left bank of the Don River towards the World Cup of 2018.
