Azerbaijani MoD refutes loss of its drone over Nagorno-Karabakh

The drone (spy unmanned aircraft), which crashed down in Nagorno-Karabakh, had nothing to do with Azerbaijan, said the local Ministry of Defence (MoD). This was reported in a special statement of the Ministry.

"The drone shot down over the territory of Azerbaijan occupied by Armenia was not registered as the military asset of the Azerbaijani Army," the "Vesti.Az" quotes the statement.

David Babayan, Press Secretary of the President's Office of Nagorno-Karabakh, said that the official Baku had tried to present the situation as if the aircraft did not belong to Azerbaijan.

"Instead of making conclusions out of the incident and stop its deconstructive policy, the Azerbaijani party continues, unfortunately, moving more and more proofs of its inability to wage serious politics," the "Armenpress" quotes Mr Babayan as saying.
