In Ingushetia, airport director suspected of abuse of power
In Ingushetia, investigators suspect Magomed Khashagulgov, Managing Director of the OJSC "Airport Magas" of abuse of power, and Magomed Tsurov, his predecessor in the post, – of illegal entrepreneurship. This is stated in the message of the Prosecutor's General Office of Russia.
In the course of the inspection, undertaken by the transport prosecutor's office of the city of Nazran, it was revealed that Magomed Khashagulgov hired Ruslan Miziev, director of the state unitary enterprise "Airport Lig", to his substitute position, despite the adopted ban on participation of heads of unitary enterprises in any other gainful activities.
Miziev, while he occupied the position of deputy director of the OJSC "Airport Magas", received salary. As a result, the state suffered damage in the amount of about 130,000 roubles.
Besides, the inspection revealed that from August 2007 to February 2011, by the order of Tsurov, ex-director of the "Airport Magas" the company was engaged in unloading POLs (petroleum, oil and lubricants), although it had no license on handling hazardous goods, the RAPSI reports.
Khashagulgov faces a threat of four years, and Tsurov – five years of imprisonment.
The position of Magomed Khashagulgov and Magomed Tsurov in regard of claims filed against them is unknown.
