An action “Blogger against rubbish” passed off in Astrakhan region

About 400 internet blog users took part in an action “Blogger against rubbish” in Astrakhan region. Governor Alexander Zhilkin also participated in tidying up the beach.

According to the information available, the action was organized at Gorodskoy (Municipal) beach, in the embankment of the Volga and at the beaches of the municipalities.

About four hundred activists of different youth movements and organizations gathered at the action on August, 6. T-shirts with a slogan “We will not live by keyboard alone”, sacks for rubbish and gloves were distributed among the participants. Equipped like this an ecological brigade of activists was putting the beaches of Astrakhan in order, “Astrakhan Youth News” reported. 

Public actions on cleaning the territory from rubbish have been organized for already six years, this was the first one with participation of bloggers”, “Interfax” reports.
