In Dagestan, resident of Makhachkala, kidnapped earlier, was detained
Sergey Evloev, a 19-year-old resident of Makhachkala, who had been earlier twice kidnapped, was detained by the police officers form the OVD (Interior Division) of the Leninsky District of the Dagestani capital on suspicion of illegal keeping of weapons. This was told by lawyer Ziyavdin Uvaisov to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
"Evloev was arrested on July 27. He was allegedly found the handgun. It appears that the weapon had been planted to Evloev, because he has been under the police view for a long time. In such a situation only a madman would keep a handgun at home," the lawyer said, noting that during a long time he could not obtain a meeting with Evloev.
Evloev appealed to the commission on militants' adaptation under the President of Dagestan with the request for assistance. "I was kidnapped for a second time; both times I had been tortured. Apparently, I shall not be left alone, so I ask the members of the commission to transfer me to another region of Russia," he told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent, after he had been kidnapped on May 26 and then released.
The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan then reported that they had no information about Evloev.
