A resident of Ingushetia reports kidnapping of his son

A resident of the stanitsa of Orjonikidzevskaya, Sunzha district of Ingushetia, reports kidnapping of his son Ibrahim Khashiev by armed people. The Ministry of Interior Affairs of Ingushetia does not confirm the fact of kidnapping.

On July, 27, Bashir Khashiev submitted a written statement of kidnapping of his son Ibrahim Khashiev born in 1983 to “Memorial” Human Rights Center. He reported that abut 7:00 a.m., July, 25, some unknown armed and masked people burst into their house and carried Ibrahim away. Bashir Khashiev who was out fishing at the moment got the news from his neighbours.

According to him, the entrance door of the house was knocked out, the furniture in the room was turned upside down and the belongings were scattered about. Ibrahim’s documents and mobile disappeared from the house.

The eye-witnesses state that the abductors had come in several “Lada-Priora” cars. Bashir Khashiev appealed to the Department of Interior Affairs of Sunzha district.

The Ministry of Interior Affairs of Ingushetia reports that the fact of kidnapping was not established. By the data of law enforcement bodies, Ibrahim Khashiev is considered missing since he left home, a report of HRC “Memorial” received by the “Caucasian Knot” runs.

Ibrahim Khashiev’s relatives received the information that Ibrahim’s documents were found in the neighbourhood of the settlement of Bamut, the very place where two residents of Orjonikidzevskaya, Ahmed and Adam Ozdoev, were killed by the personnel of law enforcement bodies of Chechnya at night of July, 27. According to the official version, the Ozdoevs were killed after they put up armed resistance.
