Albogachiev, resident of Ingushetia, describes circumstances of his kidnapping

In Ingushetia, Zurab Albogachiev, a resident of the village of Gamurzievo, who had been firstly kidnapped and then released by the unidentified persons, gave testimony to testified investigator Evloev from the Investigatory Committee, who leads the criminal case of kidnapping. According to the human rights activists, the unidentified persons tortured Albogachiev to confess his involvement in the armed underground.

The "Caucasus Knot" earlier reported, that on July 20 in Ingushetia the 26-year-old Zurab Albogachiev disappeared being detained by the law enforcement agents. According to Albogachiev's relatives, the men in camouflage first beat the young man, then forced him into a car and drove away to some unknown destination. On July 27 it was reported that the kidnappers had released Zurab in Chechen territory and he returned home.

Zurab Albogachiev does not know where he had been held all this time and who kidnapped him. According to information of the Human Rights Centre "Memorial", the kidnapers interrogated Zurab Albogachiev, beaten him and tortured him with electric current, forcing to confess a crime and involvement in the illegal armed formations.

The kidnapers stopped beating Albogachiev several days before releasing him, the HRC "Memorial" reports.
