Kabardino-Balkaria: Colonel Bitokhov's killers are searched by aviation
In Kabardino-Balkaria, where on the highway Nalchik-Nartkala unidentified persons shot dead Amurbek Bitokhov, Deputy Head of the Division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of the Russian Federation for the Urvan District, aviators are involved in searching the attackers.
The incident occurred at 8:25 a.m., when Amurbek Bitokhov, Colonel of Internal Troops, was on his way to work from Nalchik to Nartkala. His car BMW-325 was approached by a white VAZ-2107 without licence number plates, and a submachine gun fire was opened out of it. Amurbek Bitokhov died in place from the wounds.
The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed by the press service of the Kabardino-Balkarian MIA that there were at least two attackers and they managed to escape from the crime scene. At present, an investigatory team, experts and criminologists study the venue.
Amurbek Mukhamedovich Bitokhov, Deputy Head of the Division of the Russia's MIA for the Urvan District, a Lieutenant Colonel of Internal Troops, was born on December 25, 1971, the Kabardino-Balkarian MIA's website reports. The police officer had been serving for the MIA since 1995, including since 2011 in the above position. The deceased officer had a wife and three children.
