Several people injured as a result of a conflict between natives of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Nizhny Novgorod region
A conflict between natives of Armenia and Azerbaijan in the town of Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod region, developed into a skirmish, three persons got wounded. The incident happened on July, 24, but the police officially reported it only on July, 26.
According to a source in law enforcement bodies, the incident took place in the café “Stary Baku” (“Old Baku”). “There were persons of Azerbaijani ethnic group in the café when visitors Armenian by nation arrived. A quarrel broke out between them during which one of the newcomers shot thrice at the other party from a shotgun”, the source reported.
As a result of the firing the left arms of two participants of the conflict were torn off and one more man got wounded into his leg, “NTA-Privolzhie” reports.
The suspect escaped from the scene. His identity has already been established. The man is currently in search, RIA “Novosti” reports.
