In Georgia, arrested photographer Kurtsikidze agreed to cooperate with prosecutors
Zurab Kurtsikidze, one of the Georgian photographers, accused of espionage, agreed to a procedural deal. This was reported today by Shalva Shavgulidze, one of Kurtsikidze's lawyers.
Today, the photographers arrested on charges of espionage, were additionally interrogated according to the initiative of the prosecutor's office. Zurab Kurtsikidze announced his consent to the deal during today's interrogation, the "GHN" reports.
"The interrogation of Kurtsikidze is completed. The lawyer Nino Andriashvili, who has already came out of the prison building, told me that the agreement on certain issues had been reached. Among those issues – Kurtsikidze's consent on procedural deal, other details of the interrogation has not been yet known," said the lawyer Shalva Shavgulidze.
Photographers Georgi Abdaladze, Zurab Kurtsikidze and Irakli Gedenidze were arrested on July 7 in the morning, all of them were accused of espionage for Russia. The file was classified as "secret".
