During the week of July 11-17, 15 persons were lost in armed conflict in Northern Caucasus
During the week of July 11-17, the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus took away at least 15 human lives; at least 24 more persons were wounded. These are the results of calculations made by the "Caucasian Knot" based on own materials of the edition and information from other open sources.
Among the casualties there were 11 suspected of involvement in the armed underground, two power agents and two civilians. 15 law enforcement agents and soldiers, seven civilians and two alleged militants were wounded. Nine persons were killed in Dagestan, five in Chechnya and one in Ingushetia. 12 persons were wounded in Dagestan, seven in Chechnya, two in Ingushetia, three in the Stavropol Territory.
During the week, there were three explosions, eight armed clashes, two attempts on power agents and four – on civilians.
