Residents of Northern Caucasus suspected of preparation of acts of terror in Moscow were detained till September, 6
The court selected a preventive punishment for residents of the republics of Northern Caucasus detained for suspicion of preparation a mass act of terror in Moscow in form of arrest till September, 6.
On July, 18, Alexander Bortnikov, Director of Federal Security Service, reported that members of power ministries had prevented a large-scale act of terror in Moscow region: a group of four people from Northern Caucasus who, according to the data of FSS, were preparing it was detained. Arms and explosives were confiscated from the detainees. The investigation does not rule out that these people bore a relation to the Caucasus Emirate and were followers of formerly killed Said Buryatsky, one of the ideologists of North-Caucasian gunmen.
A source in Lefortov court of Moscow reported that the arrested people were suspected of crimes stipulated by clauses “illegal storage of arms”, “illegal manufacturing arms”, “attempts of terrorism”, “Interfax” reports.
These people are: native of Grozny Murad Edilbiev, native of Kabardino-Balkaria Islam Khamzhuev, Murad Umaev born in Ingushetia and Fiarid Nevliutov currently residing in Mordovia. They were detained in Moscow by the personnel of Federal Security Service on July, 5 and 6, “Commersant” reports.
