Dagestan: house selling alcoholic beverages shelled
Last night in Mutsalaul village of Khasavyurt District unidentified persons shelled with submachine guns the house ownership of a local resident woman, suspected of illegal alcoholic beverages selling, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Rasul Magomedkhanov, a resident of the village.
"Everyone in the village knows that Patimat Magomedova, whose house was shelled at night, is secretly selling alcoholic beverages. Jamaat (community council, – note of the "Caucasian Knot") of Mutsalaul repeatedly asked her to stop this trade, but she did not wish to listen to anybody, one month ago a grenade was thrown in the yard of her house ownership, nobody was injured, but many residents considered that a warning for Patimat Magomedova. The today's attack is also perceived as a warning. The shelling caused slight damage to the house ownership, nobody was injured. The woman stopped selling alcoholic beverages," said the resident.
In Khebda village of Shamil District of Dagestan on July 18 in the night another shelling occurred in a village shop. Three persons perished.
"At 4:00 a.m. brothers came in a private shop to buy alcoholic beverages. They conflicted with the owner of the shop and demonstrated guns. Then an unintended shot from the pistol of one of the brothers occurred, the bullet hit dead the shop owner's wife. The owner shot in response and gave a wound incompatible with life to one of the brothers. The other one shot and killed the owner, who died at the scene. The murderer fled from the scene, he was being searched for," the "Caucasian Knot" was told by a local resident, who preferred to stay anonymous. He also said that the late owner of the shop wanted to stop the sale of alcoholic beverages after repayment of a loan debt.
