Human rights activist Rasul Ismailov, one of the leaders of the rally, said that "irresponsibility and corruption of power" forces people to hold protests rallies.
According to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent, representatives of the power agencies came to the rally, a lot of special equipment was brought there.
Participants of the rally said that power agents recommended them to hold a rally in Makhachkala.
