Two policemen suffered at detention of Dvorakovskiy in Stavropol Territory; detainee in coma

Doctors amputated an upper limb of Victor Dvorakovskiy, who was detained in Stavropol Territory on suspicion of involvement in terrorism, reported Natalia Zharikova, the head of Health and Information Department of the resort city of Zheleznovodsk.

Last night Victor Dvorakovskiy was detained on a street of the village of Inozemtsevo. Officers of the patrol duty service stopped a suspicious young man and demanded to present the documents, but he threw an improvised explosive device (IED) at the policemen. In the result of the explosion one power agent was contused. The policemen opened fire on the young man, and he tried to actuate the second IED, but it blew up in his hands.

Natalia Zharikova did not specify what kind of Dvorakovskiy's limb had been amputated; but it was previously reported that the explosion of the second bomb, thrown by the young man at the Stavropol policemen, shot off his hand. "The first aid was provided to him. The doctors had to amputate his upper limb, it was not so simple. He got a baro trauma, loss of blood," stressed Natalia Zharikova.

According to her, Dvorakovskiy was also injured by the explosion and the doctors were examining him further. "We are evaluating the situation, what happened to his brain, his health condition is closer to grave," the RIA "Novosti" quotes Ms Zharikova as saying.

Victor Dvorakovskiy is in a coma, unconscious.

Igor Melnikov, Chief of the Operational Search Unit of the Main Department the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Stavropol Territory, said that Dvorakovskiy's mother lives in the village Inozemtsevo. "However, it was clearly investigated that he had not been at home. And when he was detained, he was walking to the opposite side of the house," the "Interfax" quotes Igor Melnikov's words.
