All presidential candidates should go in one coalition, Abkhazian Elders assert

Today Konstantin Ozgan, the head of the Board of Elders, disseminated the statement in which the Board of Elders of Abkhazia proposes all presidential candidates to unite into a single electoral coalition.

"To fully engage all human resource potential of electoral coalitions, to overcome differences that occur among the voters, it would be helpful for the presidential candidates to form a united coalition," declared the statement.

If presidential candidates consider impossible to accept this proposal, the Board of Elders suggests "the incoming president to attract human resources potential of the electoral coalitions to the state government," the RIA "Novosti" reports.

"Practice shows that in the multiparty system not the entire nation has representatives in the government. The constitutional right of the nation part to govern the state through the representatives is being violated. In our view, the relevant government branches need to pay attention to it," notes the statement.

The Board of Elders is confident that the upcoming presidential election will be held in accordance with the laws and moral and ethical standards of the Abkhaz people, the "Apsnypress" reports.
