FMBA experts to check rejection to grant disability to girl from Krasnodar Territory

Vladimir Ujba, the head of the Federal Medical-Biological Agency (FMBA) of Russia, has ordered to send a team of experts to the Krasnodar Territory to make a final decision regarding the girl, who was denied disability status by doctors from the Medical-Sanitary Examination (MSE).

The doctors refused to assign a disability category to the girl, referring to the territorial decree, allegedly stating that the number of disabled children in the territory should be reduced in order to improve indicators. Governor Tkachov denied the existence of such a document.

The fact received resonance in media and the blogosphere. As a result, the head of the Russia FMBA ordered to send a team of experts to the Krasnodar Territory to make the final verdict, the RIA "Novosti" reports.

The girl's family was already visited by Vice-Governor of the Krasnodar Territory Galina Zolina.

"With regard to disability, our case is transferred to Moscow for a personal consultation; they offered me an urgent trip to a sanatorium and promised to solve our housing problems," the "Yuga.Ru" quotes the sick girl's mother.
