Resident of Makhachkala reports her brother's disappearance
Today Sidrat Akhmedova, a resident of the village Shamkhal of Kirov District of Makhachkala told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent about the disappearance of her brother Khalid Akhmedov, a 43-year-old resident of the village of Kara-Tyube of the Babayurt District of Dagestan.
"On July 5 he left Makhachkala in his car to go to the medical examination, because recently Khalid had undergone surgery on his liver. Since that time we had no news from Khalid, the brother had forgot his phone at home. We have already appealed to all authorities, but no one can help us," said the woman.
Sidrat Akhmedova supposes that the law enforcement agents might be involved in disappearance of her brother.
"My brother is a good Muslim, he does not smoke or drink, is not involved in the armed underground, and has two children; however, the local policemen have registered Khalid as Wahhabi. Salimkhan Dapaev, the head of criminal investigation department of the OVD (Interior Division) of the Babayurt District, repeatedly threatened my brother, saying that he would not leave him alone, arrest him and out in prison," said Sidrat Akhmedova.
The standby unit of the OVD of the Babayurt District rejected to comment, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan stated that they knew nothing about the incident.
