Businessmen from Sochi to use Italian experience in developing hotels before Olympics

Representatives of SME from Sochi visited factories and companies producing equipment for hotel and restaurant business. Following the visit the sides agreed to continue the business contacts.

Information business tour to Apennines was organized by the Institute of Foreign Trade of Italy, and Sochi Chamber of Commerce (CC). Sochi residents were satisfied with their trip – business relations established in Italy promise to bring contracts and joint business projects.

"This project provides an opportunity to develop business, and this is a significant help to local SME of the resort," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Yuri Deikun, the CEO of the company "Restlain Yug".

Today thousands of new and renovated hotel rooms are getting ready for the Winter Olympics, going through the procedure of the mandatory classification.
Maya Barkaya, the Deputy Director of the LLC "Avto", was interested in the possibility of implementing in Sochi joint projects with Italian designers.

"They have a wealth of experience, and they are ready to arrive in Sochi," said Ms Barkaya. However, at first, the representative of the construction company stressed, they want to understand "our mentality and the rules of doing business in Russia".

"Sochi businessmen," started Vadim Levchenko, the chairman of the City Chamber of Commerce, and continued: "should adopt experience and learn the rules of doing business from their Italian colleagues."
