Three locals killed in Kabardino-Balkaria in one day
A local resident was killed today in the city of Baksan, Kabardino-Balkaria, at an attempt to detain him. According to the police, he rendered armed resistance.
The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed at the Investigatory Department for Kabardino-Balkaria of the Investigatory Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) that the casualty was already identified as Beslan Zeushev, born in 1986, a resident of Baksan.
An improvised explosive device (IED) was found in his car. A criminal case was initiated on the facts.
This is the third such incident within this day. Earlier in Nalchik law enforcers killed another suspected member of illegal armed formations, who, according to their data, also rendered armed resistance at detention. Besides, in the city of Chegem policemen shot dead a 35-year-old local resident, who opened fire on them at the moment when his car was stopped for inspection.
