Dagestan: Davud Israpilov found beaten

Today Davud Israpilov, a resident of the village of Khutrakh of Tsuntin District, who was considered as disappeared since June 24, was found beaten in the Kirov District of Makhachkala, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Magomed Yusupov, Israpilov's uncle.

"Residents of the Shamkhal village found my nephew who was severely beaten. Davud was beaten black-and-blue, till now he is not able to talk," said Magomed Yusupov. He added that he considered his nephew had been lucky to remain alive.

"We were lucky that my nephew had been found only beaten, since the disappeared persons were usually found killed during special operations. Then the power agents retroactively declare them to have been militants," stressed Magomed Yusupov.

The standby unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that they know nothing about the incident.
