A woman injured in gas explosion in Vladikavkaz died
Today, at 9:00 p.m., Albina Arkaeva, born in 1962, who received serious burning injuries in the explosion of gas cylinder in Vladikavkaz on 25 June, died in Moscow hospital, reported Irbek Doev, the spokesperson of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania in Moscow.
Albina Arkaeva's condition was rated by doctors as the most grave among all the victims.
The total number of victims of the blast now makes 55 persons; the condition of 20 of them, including 6 children, is rated as grave.
On June 26 an aircraft of the Ministry for Emergencies (MfE) of the Russian Federation brought 12 victims to Moscow, the injured persons were delivered to Moscow's best hospitals. On June 27 another special flight of the Russian MfE brought 12 victims to St Petersburg. The victims' relatives arrived together with them. On June 28 a special flight of the Russian MfE brought 9 more injured persons from North Ossetia to Moscow.
All victims delivered to Moscow clinics are in grave condition, reported Irbek Doev, the spokesperson of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania in Moscow.
