In Krasnodar Territory, "All-Russian March along Stolen Black Sea Coast" ends in detentions

On June 24, the action named "All-Russian March along Stolen Black Sea Coast" was held in the vicinity of the city of Gelendzhik. Several activists were detained afterwards.

The march was organized by the movement named "Open Shore", the Ecological Watch for Northern Caucasus and the "Yabloko" Party and brought together about 30 protesters. They gathered in the village of Divnomorsk with the intention to march to the nearby summer house, which belongs, according to ecologists, to the Patriarch of the Russian Orthodox Church. The activists stressed that a section of the forest fund had been illegally fenced off with a three-meter-high enclosure.

As reported by the "Yabloko" website, the march ended in the farm yard of Dzhankhot, where a rally was also held.

According to the activists, prior to their action local policemen tried to persuade them to give up the idea. After the end of the march, Lieutenant Dmitry Aniskin urged the "greens" to abandon the continuation of the " All-Russian March along Stolen Black Sea Coast", since the protesters were going to visit the "Winery". This is the name given by locals to the large plantation of vineyards, located on the land, which had been, according to ecologists, illegally granted into lease to private entities for construction of luxury residences there.

The participants of the action said they would not give up their plans; then, three activists were detained by the police.

According to the same Lieutenant Aniskin, the ecologists rejected his demand to follow him to the police station for drawing up protocols, which was treated by him as disobedience to his lawful demands, the "Yuga.Ru" portal writes.
