During the week of June 6-12, 20 persons lost in armed conflict in Northern Caucasus
During the week of June 6-12, the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus took away at least 20 human lives; at least 11 more persons were wounded. These are the results of calculations made by the "Caucasian Knot" based on own materials of the edition and information from other open sources.
Among the casualties there were ten suspects of involvement in the illegal armed formations (IAFs), eight civilians and two power agents. Nine legal enforcement agents and military men and two civilians were injured.
Nine persons were killed in Kabardino-Balkaria, five in Dagestan, five in Chechnya and one in Ingushetia. Seven persons were injured in Kabardino-Balkaria, two in Chechnya and two in Ingushetia.
During the week there were two explosions, five armed clashes, two attempts on power agents and two – on civilians. Two terror acts were prevented.
