Chechen native lost at detention in Nice

A native of Chechnya perished in Nice, while trying to escape from the police during an anti-terrorist operation, a source from the French police reports.

Policemen were conducting an operation at the request of the Paris prosecutor's office, which investigates cases involving terrorism, the France Press reports, referring to the police. According to the agency, "the French justice intends to liquidate the Chechen logistic network," which supports Caucasian terrorists.

The police detained six residents of Chechnya. However, when representatives of the Central Intelligence Department (DCRI) of France broke into the apartment, where the suspects lived, two of them jumped into the window. One was slightly injured, but the other one, who was not searched, was lost, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
