Three persons killed in gunfire in Dagestan
According to preliminary information, three persons were killed in Makhachkala, when a car was shelled by unidentified assailants. Among the casualties were the rector of one of Islamic Universities and his son, the press service of the Dagestani MIA reports.
The car was shelled at about 9:40 p.m. near No. 110 on the Abubakarov Street, where the Spiritual Administration of Muslims (SAM) of Dagestan is situated, said a source from the press service.
"According to the preliminary information, the rector of the Islamic University, his son and the third passenger in the car are dead," said the source.
