North Ossetia: father of supposed killer of poet Dzhigkaev refused from his son

Today, Georgiy Murashev, father of David Murashev, who was killed during a special operation in Vladikavkaz and who was suspected of murdering poet Shamil Dzhigkaev, decided to refuse from his son.

"I, David's father, apologize to the entire kin of Dzhigkaevs and to Ossetia for such a great tragedy. I think no one has proper safeguards against it, and, probably, once I missed my son's education out of my attention," said Murashev in his video appeal shown at the meeting of the Supreme Council of Ossetians.

"All that I can do now in order to redeem my guilt before the family and the republic is my decision to refuse from my son. It's very hard, believe me, but I decided not to bury him and not to attend the funeral. And not a single person named Murashev will be present there," the North-Ossetian information portal "15th Region" quotes Georgiy Murashev as saying.

The city morgue, where David Murashev's body is kept, reported that his mother had come. "At present, we can't give out the body, because there is no appropriate order from investigatory bodies," the "Interfax" quotes a morgue employee.
