Dzagurov: only one out of 18 detained Muslims released in North Ossetia

Out of 18 Muslims, detained after assassination of the poet Shamil Dzhigkaev, not four but only one - Aslan Biragov - was detained, said Ibragim Dzagurov, Assistant Mufti of North Ossetia.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today a number of media resources have reported that in North Ossetia, four persons detained after the murder of poet Shamil Dzhigkaev were released.

"Biragov was released back on June 5, but so far he was not yet communicated with the members of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of North Ossetia (SAMNO). The information that four detained Muslims had been released is untrue," said Dzagurov.
