Woman from Dagestan reports disappearance of her husband

Makhabat Musaeva, a resident of the village of Kokrek, Khasavyurt District, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that her husband Magomed Musaev had disappeared.

"On May 27 he went to Kizlyar, where we have another house; and on the way my husband disappeared; his phone didn't answer to calls; this had never been the case. The printout of telephone conversations said that he disappeared near the village of Sulevkent," said Magomedova.

The woman said that her husband had named a person who could be involved in his disappearance. "This is our fellow villager named Umakhan; he works for Division 6 of Dagestani MIA," said Magomedova. She told us that they have four minor children; the family strictly sticks to all Islamic canons; and her husband was not registered at the police as a follower of Salafism.

The on duty unit of the Dagestani MIA said that they knew nothing about the incident.
