Deputy Minister of Education detained in Adygea on suspicion of abuse of office
Maryat Alieva, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Adygea, was detained and accused of abusing her powers during the USE (Uniform State Exam). Opening of a criminal case is now considered.
Ms Alieva was detained in Maikop during the operative-search actions by employees of the Department for Fighting Economic Crime of the local MIA.
The Deputy Minister is suspected of abuse of power, namely, of organization of illegal fulfilment of USE tasks in the Russian language before the official start of the exam, the ITAR-TASS reports.
The law enforcement bodies of the republic make no comment on the fact of detention; the position of Alieva herself is still unknown.
