Missing Kokrek villager found dead in Dagestan

The body of Magomed Musaev, a resident of the village of Kokrek, Khasavyurt District of Dagestan, who disappeared on May 27, was found. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed about it by Magomed's wife - Makhabat Musaeva.

She told the correspondent about disappearance of her husband on June 2.
"The body in the water canal near Kokrek was found by fishermen. His hands were roped; his skull was broken in two places; he had broken nose, a jaw, ribs, numerous injuries; his eyes were squeezed out. A forensic expert was called and found that my husband's death came about 7 hours ago," said Makhabat Musaeva.

The woman reported that there are witnesses, who saw the detention of her husband. "The fuel filler from the village of Luxembourg said that her husband was detained by unidentified armed men who arrived in two black Lada-9 cars. They attacked Magomed, pushed him into the car and left at high speed in the direction of Makhachkala. I think they were power agents," said Musaeva.

The on duty unit of the Dagestani MIA told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that they knew nothing about the incident.
