Georgian television journalist to be deported from Russia

 

The Meschansky District Court of Moscow has decided to deport the Georgian journalist from the First Information Caucasian Channel (PIK-Channel) Natiya Poladashvili.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on May 30 in Moscow in Suvorov Square, where the memorial service was held on President of Abkhazia Sergey Bagapsh, the reporters of the PIK-Channel Alexei Matveev and Natiya Poladashvili were detained. The former was fined by 500 roubles, while in relation Poladashvili, the materials were sent to the court for violation of the regime of her stay in Russia. Now the journalists are at large.

Today, the court has decided to deport Natiya Poladashvili, a citizen of Azerbaijan, from Russia, the "Georgia Online" reports.

According to a source from law enforcement bodies of Russian capital, the journalists tried to video and interview people, involved in the ceremony, having no accreditation documents.
