In Vladikavkaz, suspect of murdering poet Dzhigkaev shot dead
In the course of a special operation in Vladikavkaz, the supposed killer of the Ossetian national poet Shamil Dzhigkaev was liquidated. In the shootout a SWAT officer was wounded.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on May 26 Shamil Dzhigkaev's body with multiple stab wounds was found near the village of Redant. The suspected killer was established and put on the search list. The North-Ossetian MIA announced him as David Murashov, 34, a local resident.
Today David Murashov was found at a shelter for homeless persons in Oleg Koshevoy Street. He was blocked by power agents and entered into a gunfight with SWAT fighters.
"The suspect David Murashov was blocked in the building and shot dead," the RIA "Novosti" quotes Alla Akhpolova, head of the press service of the local MIA.
Another source from the MIA has noted that a MIA's SWAT employee was wounded in the special operation and is presently in the resuscitation ward.
A fire burst out in the shelter; now they are trying to extinguish it, the "Interfax" reports.
